Goose Island State Park

Here are some more project photographs for your viewing pleasure.

The Goose Island State Park shelters (in Rockport, Texas, for Texas Parks & Wildlife) were completed at the beginning of the year, and provide a place for fishermen, picnic-ers, and other park goers to have protection from the wind and sun.  They are prefabricated concrete forms (local prefab operation from Houston) that were quickly assembled on site, replacing a series of old, weathered shelters along the lake's beach.  Engraved on the side of each shelter is one of four different Texas wildlife species that can be found at the park.

Paul took these photographs on his second to last trip out there in January, after all of the shelters had been completed.  For more information on this project, click here.
